Lira City Council has procured Biometric system and installed at Administrative premise's Lira City Head Quarter to provide staffs with faster and easier mean of authentication, high level of accuracy and ability to ensure the staff is presence at work

The Lubu Cao youth group, under the SAIC project in collaboration with GLOFORD Uganda ,took a significant step in environmental conservation by donating 50 trees species Mahogany and Mvule which were planted at the Mayor's Garden in Lira City .
